Check out issue number 10 of Okido, launched on the 17th october.
I went to cambridge this weekend to try and soak up some culture with me mum as you do.I live pretty much in the middle of nowhere so looking in shops is exiting stuff. We made a visit to the cambridge folk museum which I thought i should tell you about as i loved it.It is in an old higgledy piggeldy house and is full of thouroughly kitchen sink style artefacts such as wasp guns,a hat to keep the sun off a horse's head and a pair of dried moles paws carried in your pocket to ward off rhuemitism. I particulary liked the attic where there was amazing doll's houses and crazy toys.
I have been doing a bit of drawing for some new tote bags. They are a bit random but someone might like them.I found a lovely picture of an old boy shaking hands with a smiling donkey and who can resist a smiling donkey? Also I drew my favourite bargains from this summers
car boot haul and a young girl with a friendly corgi.

ooooh I finished the cat brooches and packed them with a picture of the wicked blanket I got a the car boot.
It is my cat's favourite sleeping place so I thought it would be fitt
ing.
I'll pop them in the shop now should you want to sport one on jacket.
here is a man with a really big cat I have made into
a wooden picture and also some lovely brooches don't y know.
Me and Toby went for a walk the other day and we had crazy long shadows. His fingers made me think of Egon Sheile's pictures which made me dig out a book on him when I got home.
Thought i would post a picture of my cat as although she is totally miserable, she is quite pretty and fluffy. She looks like she is smiling in one but is more her usual noncholant self sauntering off in the other.
I got asked by a shop if I did anything with cats on so I have been having a go.I find them a bit tricky though, but these are going to be brooches.I did them in ink and used a sponge for the markings
as I seem to go a bit crazy with the furryness.
I got this wicked box of photos the other week at the car boot sale and it's really had me going with the drawing and that. It must pretty much chart three generations of a family's liife. It's lovely. Also the family had a pet tortoise who features heavily in the baby pictures so that' always a bonus. S I have been drawing these strangers but I now feel like I know them althogh I have probably made them far stranger in my head than in reality. Any wa
y here
is a few pictures...
